the laws of God are set for our sake, not for His sake.
the Lord knows that if we are good to one another, that if love each other, we will be happy.
the laws of the Lord are that we should treat each other respectfully, as each human is His precious child.
inside of all of us, there are desires that would bring harm to others.
inside all of us, there is hatred, greed, lust that would drive us to hurt people.
the Lord knows we could never fight these things ourselves.
only with Him can we hope to overcome greed and lust and hate, so that love will find a place in us.
the power of the Lord is immeasurable.
in God all things are possible.
